ABOUT CREAK
Creak have been playing as a band for more than 20 years - although with a few changes of personnel. Vladi is now the longest serving member and Judi the newest.

We play in London, the UK and around the world. Where possible we are as green as we can be - we don't ship tons of gear when we play out of London, using local equipment and people. We offset international travel - for our 2020 Japan trip, for example, we planted hundreds of trees in Surrey (never mind that we couldn't go...)
BAND MEMBERS
JUDI GODBY
Lead Singer
Judi joined the band in the autumn of 2018 and we played our first live gig together in March 2019. Since then Judi has become a vital member of the band and we have gone from strength to strength.
Judi is a great fan of phantom power and reverb, and has an encyclopedic memory for song structure that we've stopped doubting.
VLADI SCHLESMAN
Lead Guitar
He plays Fender & Gibson guitars as well as a rather strange guitar he sometimes usues for slide. Checkout the new Gibson semi-accoustic! He has easily won the competition for the number of effects on a pedal board and - when you come to see us play - watch him dance just before a solo...

And then suddenly he arrived with an amp modeller and that was it!
He uses Marshall amps when he can - the more the merrier - and would turn them up to 11 if he could.
PETE BLAIR
Bass & Backing Vocals
Pete is our bass player and sings backing vocals - the happy, cheerful Glaswegian.
He plays Overwater, Sterling, Steinberger & Ibanez basses, Trace Elliot amps (the new ultra-light Elf series) for preference. His pedal board works for his bass, his vocals and for his own monitoring so there are a lot of lights fshing. Effects are from TC Electronics, Dark Glass, DSM & Humboldt & Source Audio for bass and Boss for vocals. He uses IEMs when he can and earplugs when he can’t (both from the lovely people at ACS) and says that his tinnitus isn’t going to get any worse no matter how loudly Vladi plays.
JON MAURY
Drums
Jon is our drummer and keeps us all in control - the drummer does finish songs in this band. He’s brought some real discipline to Creak to the point where we can absolutely rely on our beat.
He plays - you know I don't know what kind of drums he has. They're round and loud - does that help? I do know he's just got new cases for them...
CHRIS KIRWAN
Keyboards, guitar & backing vocals
Chris played keys, guitar and sings backing vocals too.
He plays a Roland controller that manages to do a huge number of things - and suddenly we have a whole new range of sounds.
