GIGS

We were at Surbiton Hockey Club on Saturday and they certainly know how to party! We played a high energy 2-hour set and everyone there was demonstrating their fitness by dancing and singing for the duration. A few even sang along during our (short) soundcheck! We had a great time and were glad to see that everyone else did too. Big thanks to Will, Taz and the team at the club for their friendly help. We have a couple of weeks off now before the next. What a great gig! We were at Twickenham Rugby Club for a private party to celebrate Mags’ birthday and what a brilliant evening. The room was full and from early on in the set everyone wanted to dance (and sing). There was a wide age range but each was well represented on the dance floor. Kudos to everyone’s stamina! A big thanks to Mags and the family for hosting us; to Tom for sorting out our sound so well; and to all the staff at the club for their friendly helpfulness.

We were together to put the final touches to the set for two gigs next week. It was a great rehearsal with some helpful tweak here and there which should work well for the parties coming up. Are there any points for taking a photo while playing bass..?

What a great first gig with Marcia. We were playing at The Tapestry Bar (who were lovely people and very helpful!) to a crowd of friends as a warm up for a string of gigs starting in March. We played a shorter set of new and old songs, and got our crowd up dancing and singing along. We're looking forward to the next set of gigs already.

Working hard We have a few gigs coming up and so we are all practicing and rehearsing hard as you can see from the picture above... We're actually having a great time, getting to know each other and getting our heads around a set (or three) of both old and trusted favourites and new new songs. Looking forward to seeing you at one of the upcoming gigs

We have a new singer. Marcia Sommerford joined us in October 2025. The fun is now starting to find songs we all like and to build a set list in time for our next gig. More here very soon.
